Foreword

 

Noell China is an internationally oriented industrial unit which, because of its size and importance of its activities, plays a significant role in the market place and in the economic development and welfare of the community where it is present.

Noell China operates in institutional, economical, political, social, and cultural environment in constant and rapid development. Noell China's activities must be performed in full respect of the law, in fair competition, with honesty, integrity, and good faith, with due respect for the legitimate interests of its customers, employees, shareholders, commercial and financial partners and the communities where it is present. All those who work in Noell China are, without any distinction or exception whatsoever, committed to respecting these principles in performing their roles and responsibilities and to making sure that others respect them. The convection that one is acting in favour or to the advantage of Noell China can never, in any way, justify acts or behavior that conflict with these principles.

Considering the situations in which Noell China operates, it is important to define clearly the values that Noell China accepts, acknowledges and shares as well as the responsibilities assumed by Noell China inside and outside Noell China itself. For this reason this Code of Practice (herein after called the 揅ode?has been produced. Respect of the Code by every Noell China employee is of paramount importance for the good functioning, reliability and reputation of Noell China; all of which are crucial factors for its success.

Apart from their general duties of loyalty, fairness and the performance of their labour contract in good faith, all Noell China employees must refrain from acts that compete with Noell China and they must respect company rules and comply with the Codes; which compliance is also required under Local Laws.

Each employee is expected to have full knowledge of the Code and to contribute actively to its implementation and to report any shortcomings. Noell China undertakes to facilitate and promote knowledge of the Code among employee and accept their constructive contribution to the Code's contents. Any behaviour violating the letter and spirit of the Code will be punished according to the rules herein defined.

Noell China check compliance with Code by providing suitable information, prevention and control instruments and it shall ensure transparency in all operations and conduct by taking corrective measures if and as required. The Code shall be brought to the attention of every person or body having business relation with Noell China.
